Company wanted beef ribs
« Reply #-1 on: August 24, 2014, 10:31:19 AM »
Company on Saturday wanted to try Beef ribs for the first time. So I went with my standard Beef rub.
1 Tbls cumin
1 Tbls paprika
1 Tbls granulated garlic
1 Tbls onion powder
1 Tbls chili powder
1 Tbls dark brown sugar
2 Tbls kosher salt
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
This makes enough for 1 rack, so I had to double it but lower the cayenne amount because one person doesn't like heat.
Cooking on the charcoal for 5 & 1/2 hours at 240 degrees. Basted with diluted beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.

Served with my strawberry salad. (recipe in veggies and side dishes)

Must have been good because they took the recipe home.

That looks great!!  (Strawberry salad looks refreshing and a nice compliment to the beef ribs).  Your company may never leave if you keep feeding them like that! :P
