A guy on the bullet site posted this red-head craigslist yard sale post and it was too close to the pad not to check it out.

Grabbed her for 20 bucks...turns out to be a pre-1979 model. Also a plus is that she is a 22.5er!!

Needs a bit of love but it is ready to cook on today!!!!! These are before pics...she washed up real purdy-like!! 8)

Funny story, my buddy called me this morning when I was at the market just begging me to go get that Weber. He had to work and couldn't get out there. I left the market with my groceries in the back of the truck and went straight to get it!! When I first saw her, I knew my buddy wasn't going to get it!!

I have to go back to the market and get some more ice cream and milk!! Must be darn near 104 already!!

I saw that one listed on the Bullet forums this morning, when I saw you post here I wondered if it was the same one!

Have a smoking pal in Montana looking for a used Weber kettle right now, closest we can find to him is 3 1/2 hours away... sounds like relatives are gonna pick it up for him next week.

Since we got our Yoder last winter I haven't used anything else except for camping... that all changes tomorrow cause I'm taking out one of the kettles for a cook!

Congrats Smoke! She's got that classic beauty look about her!

I love that the current Weber replacement parts will still fit.

That is good to know because the lid handle only has a little of the original wood handle on it and it is currently a hand burner!!
