After the steak cook, I tossed some live oak splits on the coals and lowered the basket. Of course I laid my knee against the drum and burned the heck out of my knee cap (nice to be married to a nurse).

The inside of the drum is all glazed up. Today will be fire management. Saturday: ribs   Sunday: Wagyu/Kobe Brisket  :P :P :P :P

Thanks for the link D-Holly. She is on the BPS drum smoking forum......which, truth be told, I joined to post my drum adventures only.

Now there is one last rig to add to my arsenal before I hang up the checkbook (or Wendy hangs me), it won't happen till the end of the year though........it will be a fitting way to say good-bye to all the cooker web-sites  8)
