SV Salmon Filets
« Reply #-1 on: June 22, 2015, 06:06:45 PM »
Decided to break in my new Anova One with a couple of frozen Salmon Filets.

Powered it up. Adjusted temp setting to Fahrenheit...

Set temp to 125F...

Leaving them in for 2 hours since I dropped them in frozen...

They will get a quick pan sear when done.

I checked the water temp with my thermapen and it was 124.5 so within 1/2 degree is very acceptable in my book. :)

I decided to only let them go for an hour since they thawed the first 15 minutes then dropped them into an ice bath.

I am going to sear them a little later for dinner.

It was actually more pink than the picture shows. I don't know why my phone camera corrected the color.
