Tri tip
« Reply #-1 on: June 27, 2015, 07:09:35 PM »

Hello friends, this will be my first tri tip on the kamado. It's one of my favorite cuts of meat because of the price and flavor you can get out of it. If all goes well I may mostly retire the old sidebox, I'll keep it for sentimental value of course.

I've heard about Hubs love for gravy. You can see the steak and corn right? ;)

Great looking plate of food!

Tri-tip is part of the California food pyramid. I grew up eating it. One of my favorite cuts of meat.

Have you tried making a trisket? Pappy will be along to tell you how. :P
