Another Old Smokey Cook (warning- picture heavy)
« Reply #-1 on: August 22, 2015, 07:41:55 PM »
Been going with the Old Smokey a lot lately. This week I made some short ribs. Bought a package of uncut ribs.

Trimmed the fat, added some yellow mustard, gunpowder rub, garlic powder, pepper.

Rubbed and ready for the smoker.

Lit a small batch of charcoal in the chimney. Put a charcoal "snake" with some apple chunks and some hickory pellets sprinkled in.
Bought a box of these to start the charcoal. Sure works better than stuffing the chimney with paper.

Ribs on the grill.

Buttoned up and cooking away.

Near the end I added some seasoned asparagus.

Did some corn on the cob in the SRG. Here is a plate.

So another Old Smokey adventure complete.

Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.
