Thanks for that advice on time smokeasaurus, and that Chicken comment. Heck, we should all be adding a chicken to everything all the time anyhow!
That reminds me of the time Bruce Bjorkman, aka "Mr. BBQ" was giving me directions for smoking a couple of Turkey Breast on the Mak Grill. I was pretty new to pellet cooking at the time. So he goes through all of this info, and tells me to add thick cut Bacon to the top of the breast and use toothpicks to secure it. I responded, "Ya, I'll bet that really adds some flavor to the Turkey." He responds,"Well, I suppose it does,....but what I getting at, is your going to have one great snack with that Bacon while waiting for that Turkey." I don't think he was even aware of how dang funny that was to me at the time. Here's a guy cooking one meal and wedging in another opportunity for something delicious in the meantime
Changed my whole thinking about cooking from that point on!!!
