What To Use To Clean Cutting Boards? Vinegar.....Yes Vinegar!

(1/3) > >>

I was interested in finding the best way to clean my wooden pizza peel the other night and came across a website devoted to care and maintenance of peels. In the article was a link to a report that proves vinegar SHOULD be used to clean cutting boards with great results, far better than most people could imagine. The safety of those we cook for should be of great interest to us,  the cleaning of prep surfaces is a big part of our overall safety and vinegar simplifies this task!

Good info  :) :) :)

Good info.  Thanks for sharing. I use both wood and plastic cutting boards. I use Clorox Cleanup on the plastic but the wood requires more attention.

Tailgating is my game:
Thanks Here is an article I did a few years ago on cleaning at tailgating events. I have used vinegar myself & I wonder how it compares with the new dish soap that has come out. I will use vinegar more now that I have seen this as a last cleaning agent. The more the better....
