I was busy last month cooking for Grad Parties!

TentHunteR:
I finally get a little chance to breathe.  Last month three different families we know (two through the High School Band), asked me to cook and deliver the protein for their kids' graduation parties.  So, I was busy three weekends in a row and one of those was the same day my little brother got married!  We literally dropped the food off on our way to the wedding!  :o

The first party was pulled pork and chicken for 100 people. The second was pulled pork for about 75 people, and the third was pulled pork and chicken for 60 people.

Here's a smattering of pics from a couple of the cooks:

This was the chicken for the party of 60. It has a new chicken rub I recently developed which includes some Baking Powder.  It does a superb job of keeping the getting the skin more bite through, and not rubbery.  It got rave reviews.  Sorry, in my hurry to get ready for my brother's wedding I didn't get a pic of it after it was done. I will post more about this later with a finished pic.

Next up... I have to switch gears and get ready for the High School Marching Band annual BBQ.

Looks good, Cliff.  Make sure you catch your breath before you dive back in.

Dang that's a lot of cookin'!   The chicken rub sounds great-- I still need to try that trick with the baking powder for crispness.

Tailgating is my game:
