Jaxon:
I've been wanting to try an extended cook in the Webers, using the "snake" method.  I set 'em up the same to cook a butt in 2 pieces.  It worked!  One of the grills held temp for almost 8 hours before the temp began to drop (7 hr 56 min to be precise).  The other followed shortly thereafter.
Whilst the butts were smokin', I put a couple of racks of babybacks in the offset and let them go for 3 hours before wrapping & cookin' another hour.  The video shows one of the racks on the Weber as we were finishing up with the sauce.
Everything turned out.

HighOnSmoke:
Looks like you are getting those Weber's dialed in Jack! Great looking food!

Thanks...they both held a steady temp between 255 - 270 without tending for about 8 hours.  I kept checkin' 'em but never had to change the vents.  I got to spend more time inside with the A/C, which was a good thing.

Smokin Don:
Look great Jack!!! I think you need to work on the Aroma some more , I didn't smell anything!!! :) Don

I tried scratching my screen for a little high tech scratch and sniff, don't try it Don, didn't work for me  ;D

Very impressive cook times in a kettle, especially with no vent adjustments  8)
