No (Turkeys) Left Behind
« Reply #-1 on: November 16, 2012, 10:04:34 AM »

Hal and I are doing some turkey practice tomorrow, while we continue to move equipment in.

3 toms, 2 hens, and a few frozen boulders...

The Southwest side of Springfield is gonna smell good!

For a few friends at work, an office potluck, and the other 2 are for rub 'testing'.

The smoker does all the work!   The hard part is carrying the d@mn things around.   Some are pretty big.   :o

Didn't get many pics as we were slammed, but I'll dig them up.

Let's kick the tires and light the fires!

Loaded up 3 big Toms, a Hen, a big boulder and 2 medium sized boulders.   No pics as we made a colossal mess to clean up.

About 4.5 hours later...

Cooled down and bagged/foiled up.     Hope they are good!  (we didn't get to sample anything)

2 of the Toms were for coworkers, 1 for an office potluck, we sent the hen home with Hal's MIL, the big boulder was for another friend, and the 2 smaller boulders were for MrsSTC and myself.
