thought i would try some ribs
« Reply #-1 on: December 21, 2012, 04:56:22 PM »
ok, well my wife bought me a bbq cookbook.  told me to make these ribs in it.  she liked the picture in the book.   fine..... won't be as good as mine.

had to make the rub first.  so mixed all this stuff and a couple of  things from my own pantry (wink, wink) for the rub.

wanted a finer mixture.  this is all i could fine.  poor man makes due w/ what they have.

making some beef ribs for my dogs and pork for me.

fired up the 22.  cruising at 275° more or less.  no water.  water bad for WSM.

everyone in the pool!

see ya in 2 hours.

2 hours up.  need some special FL for these babies.

got to make the sauce now.

heated to low simmer and then took off heat.

coming out of FL.

back on w/ some home made sauce.

cut up and ready for me and the dogs.

on a scale of 10 i'd give them a 5.  i could do better w/ out the recipe.  they were pretty though.

Me too, I love beef ribs as much, if not better, than pork ribs!

Sparky,
Someone should publish a picture book of "Sparky's Ribs".  It should be noted that while the pictures look great, your ribs taste even better (so I am told).  All the ribs I have seen you post would make a nice collection for someone to drool over.
