Low Sodium BBQ Sauce

(1/1)

pmillen:
A guy named Jarrod posted this recipe for a thick BBQ Sauce on another forum a few years ago.  The first ingredient is his low sodium catsup.  That recipe is here.

He wrote that it's, "[A] great blend of sweet, spicy, tangy and smokey all in one... and it only has 67mg of sodium for the entire batch."

Ingredients
1 cup homemade low sodium ketchup
½ cup cider vinegar
¼ cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon salt free hot chili powder
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon cayenne

Directions
1.  Add ingredients to sauce pan and simmer and stir for 15minutes or until desired texture.
2.  When done put in sealed jar and put in fridge overnight so flavors can meld.
