If you had the Bubbas over Captain and had to fill up that rib rack, you could probably get by with one of those charcoal baskets. Only sayin this because that is how I would do it in the Weber Kettle.

smoke - I've got both bottom vents down to ¼
and with the top vents closed it's running at 200°
I just barely cracked one of the top vents and got it up to 225°
this OldSmokey is the first time I've cooked with the 1/2 round charcoal baskets
still learning how to use this baby

to know: the reason my 22 is a factory 2nd is
they accidentally punched the cabinet base unit with two vents instead of the standard one

thanks for the "heads up" on using one coal basket
experiments to follow

by the looks of those ribs this isn't your 1st rodeo.  i wasn't worried at all.  that smoke ring is fantastic.  love the dark color to them.  love the salad and the beans too.  i'm going to need a glass of milk w/ my table setting plz.
