1st cook on new toy
« Reply #-1 on: September 16, 2013, 12:37:06 PM »
if you have to ask what my 1st cook is you don't know me very well.  lovin my WSM's.  the always produce excellent food time and time again.  why?  might be the good looking old guy lighting the match.  yes, that must be true.  it can't be the WSM.

thin clear smoke.  hee, hee.

still.

absolutely perfect color.

i'm getting better at this rib thing.

Man, even brand new, you got that temp nailed! I wish I knew your secret!

BTW, is that a Mini-charcoal chimney? Looks smaller than the one to the right of it.

it did get away from me at the beginning.

that's the beauty of the wsm.  very easy to control.  1/2 hour later.

and yes, that's my little weber chimney.  I son bought it for me.  I use it for only filling up 1/2 a charcoal basket or lighting only 10 coals to start the wsm's.   I like it.
