Country Ribs
« Reply #-1 on: April 04, 2012, 11:13:23 AM »
I have a couple of days off in a row and I need to do some smoking.....and some mowing......but first the smoking.

Got a couple of packs of country ribs at Sam's and these will be going into the MES 30 in just a little bit.
Coated with T's BBQ Savor (the new dustless style) then vacuum packed for 24 hours. Another coat put on before smoking.

Time to get the smoker going.

My kind of priorities!  ;D

Can't wait to see how they turn out.

T,

It seemed so....I really gave them a good coating the second time. It was seemed to be more of a granulated spice almost like a coursed cracked pepper. I will let you know how they come out.

I plan on throwing a couple of Boston Butts on later for a overnight cook, one with Paula Deen's Butt Massage and one with yours.

Well the ribs were outstanding....Maybe the best ones I have ever made. T, the new seasoning style is great. Packed with flavor and easy to use. Can not wait to try the new chicken one....I still have some of the old style and will do a side by side cook.

The country ribs look good Ron!

What's different with the new style of the BBQ Savor rub?

It is not as fine ground. A little more course than the older style and it is easy to use. Like the difference between garlic powder and granulated garlic.
