"We're gonna need a bigger boat"
« Reply #-1 on: January 21, 2014, 07:48:15 AM »

Did a little shopping yesterday, to add some much needed cooking capacity to our BBQ shop.

And to think, we almost tried to squeeze a Backwoods Party G2 in here as well.  Yikes!

Oh well...    Next time.   :D

Maybe you could have strapped the party to the roof.  That would have been a sight coming down the road.

Or riding on the tailgate!

That was 500 pounds of steel and hickory back there, which was plenty for my old Ranger. (and St Louis interstate traffic)

Off topic... how is the guy who bought your "big blue" cooker enjoying it?  What is he using it for?

We never heard from them again.   I did see it parked under a tarp behind a church near here.

I think that is what he bought it for.    Church picnics, fundraisers, hog roasts, etc..

Thanks!   This past weekend was our biggest ever.

We've been squirreling away $$ to pick up this BWC for doing overflow ribs. (or butts, or a barnyard full of chicken)
