Offshore Fishing

Been fishing offshore over 16 years now.  Don't get to go as much as I would like now that I'm land locked in Arkansas.  Here's some photos.  We fish out of Venice, La.

Here is a very rare catch:  a speckled Hind Grouper.

Grouper and mahi.  Hmmmm, some good eats.  I have some extra room in my freezer.  Nice haul.

Very nice, don't get to go offshore very much being landlocked in the desert but I have been out in the Gulf, the Pacific and Alaska, loved every minute of it. ;)

Great picts.  Reminds me that I need to talk to my niece about an offshore trip off Manteo in early September.  Hopefully, we will have some picts to share.

Live fishing.  Would love to do more off shore. Mostly rivers in the Pacific now.  Springer from this year.

And a nice off shore fish. Cabo. They said largest black caught there in 25 years.  Fell bad about killing her but the captain just did it and never asked.  600lbs

Nice catch! I always say I would go offshore as often as I could, but I think it wouldn't be as special if I did.

One summer many years ago, I worked on a charter boat and it never lost it's appeal. Always fun and I kept a freezer full of fish & shrimp. That part of living near the water I really miss.

Used to go deep sea fishing a lot when I was younger but not much time now. Maybe when the kids are a little older :'(
