I am bringing some oysters (in the shell) to the gathering hopefully.
I need a head count of those who will eat them so I know how many to bring. I know Dee is in line already...
The plan is to roast them but that's up to the individual.
I should arrive Thursday afternoon-evening. We need to prepare them no later than Friday afternoon. And if your going "nude" I suggest Thursday evening...

I'll run over there and see what they have. Should be able to get them. Do you want salt only? Cajun? Both?

And - remember those wonderful shrimp Terry brought a couple of years ago? WOW - those were great!

Will you be able to get any of those good shrimp? I can send you money if you need it now. Tee and I would each like about 10 pounds, if possible. Actually, we will take any amount you could bring us.

Art, there should be no Problem with the shrimp. Do you have a size preference? Medium seem to work out better for the dollar but I can get about anything easily.
Do you want 10 lbs total or each?
I thought I might bring some anyway and fix Old Dave up with a boil again.

Old Dave and Jan will pass on the oysters but would sure look forward to a boil again. Jan was talking about that treat yesterday.

I also will pass on the oysters Terry, but I will take 10 pounds of shrimp. Whichever size is best. If you need
money first let me know.

Terry..I don't remember what you bought before. I think they were salted or cajun. I'm not that picky. They were excellent tho. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Terry, Let's plan the oyster roast for Thursday afternoon, night or when ever we get them ready. I think cooking them as soon as we can will be best because the shrimp will keep better. Oysters on the half shell with some melted butter, or hot sauce, or sauted shallots, or just plain nekkid are going to be great. Dee
