This happened a couple of days ago just outside Houston.

Always terrible to hear of things like this happening...
But this statement in the article " he is thought to have tried climbing on the giant gun grill and it fell on top of him on Tuesday."  leads me to think that the parents were not paying adequate attention to him.

There are more opportunities for harm to be-fall us every day than there are god things. The difference being, that if we had reasonly good parenting - then we were taught how to behave to keep us from harm.... My guess is that we ALL have objects in or around our home that if a child climbed on them - they could be injured or worse by that object falling on them. But, it is not possible to "child-proof" the world. It IS possible to parent responsibly tho. ;)

Crazy... You gotta always watch your kids when they are that young. This is one reason.
