Title: Pizza for Dinner
Post by: Roget on September 02, 2018, 04:31:18 PM
V had been asking me for a cheese only pizza, which I haven't made for years. (I prefer a lot of toppings.)

So... Tuesday last, I made dough to be used Friday night.
Unfortunately for me I didn't know that we had a dinner party with her family planned for Friday.

So last night I finally got to fire up the pizza oven & make the pizza.

The first one is the cheese only.

This one is sausage, mushrooms, onion, and banana peppers. (and of course, cheese)

They both were very good.
Because of the delay in using the dough, it was a bit over proofed & a bit harder to work with & it took a little longer to bake (I cooked at about 675° for a little over three minutes).
But the finished product tasted great.

Just how I like them.

First date with my wife and she asked if I liked veggie pizza. I said sure. Started the relationship with a lie :)
