Post by: LostArrow on April 13, 2014, 03:24:29 PM
Ate there today & talked with Debra , the co-owner.
Lots of good food, local New Orleans .
She will fit us in Sat about 2:PM if want.
It's a short bus trip down magazine st . , no driving.

That all looks good! However I wont be making any reservations during the day. I will be at the whim of Miss Vicky doing the touristy thing. It's a long story and I have made promises to her that I intend on keeping, come hell or high water! A mans word is his signature

We frequent nola often so no tour bus needed.

For the first-timers, the National Park Service runs a free one-hour walking tour of the French Quarter once or twice a day. Your taxes pay for it so you might as well take advantage. They're on Decatur between Conti and St. Louis (a door or two down from Bubba Gump's).

Sorry, Jan and I can't make the Saturday afternoon gig either.

Like Rick, Jan and I have been going to NOLA 1-2 times a year for over 20 years so a tour is not needed for us either.
