I'm fixin' to start thinkin' about...
« Reply #-1 on: July 15, 2014, 06:24:36 PM »
I'm fixin' to start thinkin' about doin' the preliminary plannin' for the Fall Gathering for the last week in September.

I'd like for y'all to give me any suggestions you may have as to any demonstrations/classes or anything y'all may want.  After I get the suggestions I'll put out the call for volunteers to do them.  With IR2Dum's expertise across the broad spectrum of all skills he could do all himself but we don't want to wear him out.

Please remind me of any requests for the cabins.

If you don't know what I'm talking about please read some of the detailed posts we have had on this Gathering.

I'm going to check with the Army's Recreation Center about four miles away and see if civilians can used their cabins or other accommadations for those who find the campground unsuitable to you for one reason or another.

Keep in mind that this thing is not highly structured because the person doin' the plannin' is semi-lazy.  Correction---strike the word "semi"

Dee...Donna and I would like our usual accommodations. We will be there on Tuesday to clean the kitchen after you bomb the place. Not sure if we're flying in or driving. I have a driving problem thing going on, dr doesn't want me driving or riding that far for now. Someone may need to pick us up at the Augusta airport. Will let ya know later. And thanks for all you do for us..and don't forget grandma's cast iron pan..I seem to make pretty good sausage gravy in it.  Pam & Donna  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Dee,
Will you plan on doing something about "Photography and the Internet"?  A pizza demonstration with Brad's new toy might also be appropriate.

Art, Since this is a free demonstration/class thing I'm prohibited by law, NSA regulations, and CIA directives to give free classes on how to post pictures on the internet.

Pam and Tommy, I plan on bombing the kitchen on Monday hopefully.  Any  help you need getting from the airport can be arranged.  A block and tackle apparatus can be arranged to lift to the bunk house.  Redneck elevator at your service.

Dee, they don't call me IR2dum for nothin'!!!

Just reserve for me that little piece of Heaven that I like out in the woods where it is so quiet and peaceful.

But - you suffer from a genetic advantage...flippers...and the low cost of catching your own sardines along the way as you leisurely circumnavigate the globe....yet poor Mike would have to pay for airfare and his own peanuts! ;D
