Those of you who were there for the first Gathering remember that Old Dave was there and did some fantastic cooking and sharing. For health reasons he hasn't been able to make it since, BUT...I just got a PM from him that he and Jan and Barney will be there this year? He won't be bringing his fifth wheel but we will have their company and expertise.
For y'all who don't know, Old Dave is a multiple BBQ champion of various competitions as well as a state champion and he has some great techniques he readily shares.
There are some other folks who are trying to work out coming who have not been able to make final plans yet whom I'll announce their names when they get things finalized.
