Terry, Let's plan the oyster roast for Thursday afternoon, night or when ever we get them ready.  I think cooking them as soon as we can will be best because the shrimp will keep better.  Oysters on the half shell with some melted butter, or hot sauce, or sauted shallots, or just plain nekkid are going to be great.  Dee
