WOW - a new idea for wings
« Reply #-1 on: January 06, 2015, 10:20:16 AM »
Under "Links of Interest" I have Chef Steps.

Therein I watched another idea for prepping and cooking wings.  Seems like these folks really think things thru and experiment a lot.
 Looks mighty good!
Just sayin'...

It makes sense. I am going to have to try that method.

I know the removing the bone trick works like a charm.  When I eat wing flats I like to pull the small bone out, because it makes eating them a lot easier.

Thanks for posting this Jaxon!

I have steamed wing before and it is tasty.  Highly recommend, I have baked (450 off the top of my head but don't hold me too it) instead of fry too, almost as crispy as fried.

I fry with corn starch a lot and so do the orientals..it makes the lightest coating, not like batter, for whatever your frying, and it's cheap.  Pam   GO BUCKS  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

But once you remove the bone before the wing gets to your face hole then you're eating nuggets.

Jaxon:  I have looked at previous posts and you seem to have made some mighty good wings in the past with other cooking methods.  I am curious to see if you have tried this new method and what you think of it compared to your other cooks?

Cookie, I just found this recipe...haven't used it.

Won't be doing it this week either...Siberian Express will be roaring thru on Wed & Thurs - extreme winds and wind chills near zero - cold for us here in the sunny South.

Keep in mind I am just a backyard jack.  Some of these recipe are over my head.
