Without political commentary - I shudder to think what will happen to the cost of grills if the EPA gets it's way:

Saw this earlier. You should be more worried about your throne being monitored for excessive methane 8)

Amazing how we have abdicated power to the bureaucracy.

With the study being done in California, it's really scary.  Those people are trend setters for the insane ideas they come up with, all in the name of saving the planet.

Well look what they have done to water heaters for example. Ultra low nox water heaters that have nothing but problems. They took the old reliable water heater and turned it into a nightmare all in the name of clean air.

Truth is that these water heaters end up producing more nox emissions than the old ones because their combustion air system gets restricted from lint, dirt, and dust. Duh. Water heaters are usually located in a closet or garage where this is a problem. So all those clean air water heaters dirty the air faster than the old ones.

I had joked about them putting some sort of catalytic converter on our BBQ's but they will if we let them.

Anyone who works in the restaraunt industry knows that their cooking equipment is tested on a regular basis to make sure it meets clean air standards all ready in California. We have techs that test the emissions of cooking equipment.

And yet I will see an old car that has out of date registration tags billowing smoke going down the road. And BBQ grills are now a target.

Rant over >:(

I joked with Barry Martin about this back in 2008 and he said don't underestimate them.  Well looks like he was right  >:(

For anyone to worry about BBQ emissions they way they are don't you think that they need to look at our leaders flying all over the country and world for nothing but joy trips?  Talk about waist of fuel and pollution ....

I think they are right folks...I am buying a hazmat suit, respirator, giant fan & a lead building to put my grills in.............but I will need to put that building into another building to protect me from the lead ??? & I will need filters to get the lead out of my water & I will need another filter to get the charcoal out of the other filter because charcoal will not be allowed......I will need.......to get a second job to pay for all this so there will be no time left to cook so I will need to eat at Burger king to get my food.....

Hell I will just need to drink more whiskey to keep up with this madness.

Faster than the IRS! More powerful than a corrupt lawyer! Able to destroy families in a single bound!

Look, up in the sky! It's a cloud! It's a volcano! No It's teesquare's barbecue!

Yes, it's going to destroy all of us on this planet, But wait the EPA has powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal politicians. The EPA, can change the course of mighty rivers, destroy the American way in their bare hands, and who, disguised as a caring government, mild-mannered souls for a greater America, fights a never-ending battle for ending the traditional American way.

Wait....they are.....we vote them in..............

I just have one thing to say.........they better stay away from Smokes patio....I have a big chimney starter and I know how to use it................
