Big, BIG NEWS about the Cookout...BIG!!!

I got a phone call from Tim today.  Seems the fine folks who make the PIT BARREL COOKER are sending a brand new, in-the-box PBC to the Cookout with Bremer next weekend.  I know there will be a number of people here who have never cooked on the PBC (I am one) and this will be our big opportunity to go hands on with what some are calling the best chicken cooker in the country. 
But here's the BIG NEWS...it will stay in the box whilst we cook on the T-man's PBC.

This brand new PBC will be the featured item in a silent auction on Saturday.  Only one thing - you have to be present to bid. 

So now, you have another reason to come over next weekend.  Bremer is gonna be here (IR2DUM) and so is the Pit Barrel Cooker. 

It's gonna be like a family reunion (for a nice family)

Wow !!!! That Noah and Amber are just fine folks .....I have talked to both. I thought the phone number on the PBC was just for sale purposes, but believe me it's not. You can call them any time and if they don't answer, you will get a call shortly. Whoever wins the PBC will be pleased with the food they cook on it.

I remember when Turtle won the PBC a couple of years ago at the Gathering in Augusta. He really wanted it bad. I still don't understand how he got it back to Oahu as carry-on luggage.
