KOA - we are here
« Reply #-1 on: May 24, 2013, 05:56:13 PM »
Arrived this afternoon and met with a few folks at Rick's site;
"Roughing" it in a cabin

View from the porch

A few friends Chris (10.5) on the right; Bryan (Bam1) on the left

Our gracious host Rick (Nepas)

Sonny (Classicrockgriller) on the left; Audrey (Mrs BAM1) and Bryan again.

More to come.
Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.

Georgia has just become a little scarier than usual.  Just try to keep nepas out of the wheelbarrow and crg away from the banjo or it could get even worse.

What a great looking place. Dee

Google "Golden Pond KY" "Spencer Balentine" and "Silver Trail Distillery".  You'll understand. ;)

If it's legally distilled and marketed, how can they call it "moonshine?"

Hmmm - midnight in GA and no photos since late afternoon.  I'm guessing that by the time they remembered to take some more pix, no one could find the button on the camera (assuming they could even find the camera).

So first the power cord to the motorhome finds its way out of the trap door on the bottom of the compartment, dragging on the road and shredding the cord cap off the end. I "just happen" to have a spare power cord, courtesy of my DD's faux-pas with the lawn mower.

Then at MM46 in GA on I-95, the drivers side inside rear tire decides to no longer hold up its duties. Noise, Vibration... 1.5 hours later we are back on the road.

We made it to the KOA about 2100. Got checked in, then swap out the power cord. Working with wires that carry 120V 30Amp... not my primary skill set, but the cord is in and the lights are on...
