I'll bet PETA is behind this!
Yea, they bio-engineered these ticks to do this so we all have to become vegetarians!
They've weaponized insects!

I don't think them folks at peta are smart enough to do that.

Besides, don't they relize that plants "feel" pain?  If they don't, then explain why PBS did an entire show on how a cerain plant can defend it's self from bugs.  It "feels" the bug on it  and knows which way to react.  That's what the show was about.

Go stick that in your vegetarian diet!

Found out lately that a woman I used to work with was bitten by a tick and now suffers from this. Can't even eat a burger.

My brother in law is a surveyor and contracted Limes disease on the job from a Tick in New Mexico. Labor and industries has screwed him over and he is truly messed up from this disease. Thanks for posting Jack to make others aware.

If you can get old fashioned sulfur powder it works great to keep ticks and stuff out of the yard and off of you. I drag an old burlap sack full of it around the yard and at Ft Hood we used to keep a sock full of it to dust around our ankles and wrists and we never got ticks or fleas for that matter.
