I grew up right next to that Kingsford Plant in Springfield Oregon, I still can't figure out how to get them dang strings off the tops of the bags. 1 out of ten bags I get lucky the rest of the time its total frustration. Why don't they sew a dang zip lock on the top of the bag?

Same here. Pretty sure I don't even get one right

I quit trying.  I just pull until I can get a finger in and rip.  Still better than the Academy stuff to open.  Those bags require friggin' scissors.  ???
