That all looks delicious Pam!
IT WAS!!  Pam can make some killer gravy and cat head biscuits

Cat head biscuit?
I was going to ask that too...  ;)

"Cathead Biscuits" are a southern thing I guess since I've heard the expression all my life.  Basically it just refers to a homemade country biscuit made about the size of a "cathead".

No cats are harmed in the making of these biscuits.  ;)

Pam, will you share what makes your gravy so special - it sure does look good!
David..I always made gravy this way. I just fry the sausage till done and rendering grease..then I dump in some flour and cover the sausage with it..cook it out for a minute or so then add milk till it's thick..I like mine thick. Evidently the boys do too. Only thing else I added was some salt and pepper..I do use pepper. We faked the biscuits, not having made them on the grill before and the rest was just fried taters. Can't have too much cast iron, I used Dee's grandmas cast iron pan, thanks Grandma.  I know I had happy boys sitting around tho.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ

Pam that is a fine looking skillet full of gravy!  Good sausage gravy is always cooked in a cast iron skillet.

The donuts were great...  But the GRAVY was off the charts!  I have never had better!  Thanks so much for making it the second time. It carried me from Augusta to Atlanta to Chattanooga, Huntsville, then down to Birmingham all the way to Greenville AL.  Sooo good. Your the best Pammie!

At the gathering, I didn't know what to make that they weren't going to so I thought I would fill in a lil bit.  I made fried donuts again, by request, and covered them with a maple coating then dipped in chopped bacon. The next morning I made cinnamon rolls on the MAK2**. excellent job on themak on an Emil Henry stone. Friday morning was scotch eggs with sausage gravy in case they were dry..Not dry at all, but then I was requested to make sausage gravy the next morning with cathead biscuits..what is a cat head biscuit? They explained it so we faked it. They were fabulous on Tees MAK. a few pics, just click on to enlarge.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ

Pam, Thank you. That's the way I like to make mine too - just eyeball the flour and milk to get it thick. I do like a fair amount of pepper in mine. Sounds and looks like a great meal. Hopefully, next year!

Pam is definitely the Queen of biscuits and gravy! Everything she cooked was overly
delicious.  I know I went away full and content.  Can't wait until next year!
