This was our first time attending the Fall Gathering, but will not be the last. What an absolutely great time with such a great bunch of folks! Everyone who was there made us feel so welcome.
Here's a few more pics of the gathering. There are a few food pics from Sunday, but most are pics of the campground, facilities & lake. I also threw in some pics of a side trip we took to Tacoa Falls, GA.
A view of the lake from the campground.
A cove next to the camp, which sits on a small peninsula.
The main bunkhouse (upstairs) & mess hall (downstairs).
Hanging out Saturday evening. You can see Pam's Ohio State flag hanging - Go Bucks!
One of the smaller bunk houses (Tammy & I were in this one).
Sunday morning. Tommy requested Biscuits & Gravy, so while Pam was frying the taters & mixing biscuit dough, I mixed up some homemade breakfast sausage. Then I put the biscuits on the Weber/Stoven to bake while Pam turned the sausage into some of the most luscious gravy ever made.
That's a plate full of Yum right there, boy!
Sunday afternoon, Tammy wanted to take a two-hour drive over to Tacoa Falls, GA to see the falls & campus where she attended college.
The 186 foot high Tacoa Falls.
Cliffs above the falls.
A rainbow at the base of the falls.
The creek below the falls.
Sunday Evening. Time to cook supper... are those Veggies on the grill?
Yes, but don't panic... they had bacon on them!
Bacon Praline Acorn Squash and the dogs for the traditional final-night supper: chili cheese dogs.
And finally a couple more scenic pics of the lake taken from the shore of the campground.
Morning on the lake.
Dusk on the lake.
Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed!

P.S. Credit goes to my wife who took most of these while playing with her new camera (I only cropped & retouched where needed).
