Restoring/maintaining castiron
« Reply #-1 on: March 15, 2014, 10:55:01 AM »
Last night I stumbled across a YouTube video "Cast Iron Restoration and Maintenance From Start to Finish" which gives should good info and techniques on cast iron using the self cleaning of your oven.  This man seems to be a castironphobe if there ever was one.  Check it out.  Dee

Good set of videos. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.  I have used the self cleaning oven several times for garage sale cast iron, it has worked well for me.

Pappy,  The only thing I know how to do is go to YouTube.com and search for "Cast Iron Restoration and Maintenance From Start to Finish". That exhausts my knowledge of how to get there.  Dee
