I always get the boneless one. I find they are harder to slice with the bone in.

:D :D :D :D :D :D
I prefer my watermelon "bone-in" because they cook more evenly, and have more flavor...... ;) :D ;D ::) 8)

I could really sink my teeth into that :P
-
I like the bone-in because later you can use the bone to make watermelon soup
-
That's funny. For those of you old enough to remember that could have easily ended up on a segment of the Johnny Carson show.

Does P.E.T.A get involved in the growing of these?
I blame the Russians ;)
-
I go for the Spiral Sliced, nothing more tedious than slicing a watermelon. And the Honey Glaze really just sets it off ! ! !

I generally stick with the "boneless" since "bone-ins" are too hard to carve and I don't have enough storage space unless I go in with about 100 other melonistas.

bone-in allows you to eat with your hands.
-
You better have some big hands. A bone-in watermelon can weigh in at over 3500 pounds.
-
Just out of curiosity, does the photo of the "bone-in" watermelon show up on y'all's computers in my 1st post above? Still using Photobucket and have heard folks other than the poster may not be able to see it.
