"S is for smoke" is a classic Texas style beef rub with a base of Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt and a few other ingredients. I tried it on a tri-tip and did a reverse sear and it was amazing. The coarser cut of this rub will hold up to hours of lo and slo smoking and since there is no sugar, it is also a great grilling rub as well for steaks and burgers and chops.
