I out did myself and cooked 9 slabs of ribs on the barrel.had to double a couple to get all in at the same time. They turned out great and now off to celebrate the 4th.

You would have to have at least a 4 foot offset chamber to do that many ribs and here they were all done in a 30 gallon drum...outrageous...

Apparently they never told you not to cook so many ribs at one time in the PBC - that's NOT how it's done!
I love it when people think outside the box...way to go!

Now that is a lot of ribs. But the great part cooked in the PBC they will all be fantastic. Great USA built product.

So how did they all come out? How much pull was needed to clean the rib bone nicely?
I want to do eight at a time of baby backs, but I'm having a tough time getting them evenly cooked when trying two racks with the thick end up. The lower end is crispy, the mid and upper are just ok. I've played only a little with longer times, but am afraid to loose them in the bottom of the barrel.
So obviously, more practice is in order! ;D
