Pellet Grill/Smoker Question
« Reply #-1 on: February 28, 2018, 06:50:40 PM »
I have a friend who has asked my opinion on this grill: http://www.rectecgrills.com/rec-tec-grills-bull-rt-700-wood-pellet-grill/

Not being an expert on pellet grills, I told him I didn't know if this was a good grill or if there was a better bang for his buck elsewhere. But I did tell him I know a lot of great folks who would be in the know from real experience. With work I don't get to log on often but I will be checking back on this for him.

Thanks for anything you guy's can share.

I have the RecTec 680 and have no regrets. I like the grill alot. I don't have any experience with any other but I am happy with my purchase.

Among a growing number of pellet grill makers in the mid-range market, RecTec has carved a solid niche for value.  You can buy more expensive cookers but on a feature per dollar basis and the reputation of the manufacturer for taking care of customers they're hard to beat.  I have several friends who cook on RecTecs and they are all quite happy with them.

There is not a better value to be had at the 1000.00 and under pellet grill offerings.

Great controller
Stainless in all the critical places
Ceramic ignitor
Good fit and finish
Just a flat out good looking grill
Great customer service
