I just ordered my Cook-Air Red Grill for Father's Day. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with my Little Red Corvette.

Yep, I was washed away with the tide of enthusiasm and ordered one last night. So I guess a bunch of us can share our experiences.

Awesome.

I am happy to hear about others getting this grill.
I really love mine!

Starting to feel the pressure..... :o

Yes you can. It comes with a tool to lift the grill and diffuser together. Just drop in a couple hunks and continue cooking.
Just sayin'

About to pull the pin on this,, I didn't see the wood pucks for sale on Cabela's site. Do you need to use the wood pucks or can you use something else?

I like the Cowboy brand of chunks. Weber chunks are just about the same size and should work as well if you can find em............

Mike, Have you tried using Bradley pucks with this?
-
Because of the fan I think the fire will be too hot for pucks. It would burn too quick.
-
I am drooling on my screen now.......but I just don't have the cash :'( :'( :'( :'(

No I haven't but I think they would incinerate in about 5 seconds and for the cost of them probably not worth it.

Ordered mine!, looking forward to cooking on it :)

Well, I just finished a quick cook on my new Cook Air. I did take some pictures, but will not post them since it looks like all the other "Little Red Corvettes" on the forum. I cooked a couple of Bubba's Burgers and they came out great. I need to find some chunks of wood. I found that my local Lowe's only carries the Western wood chips, not chunks. I had to stoke the fire several times with chips to get through the cook.
All modes with the fan worked as advertised.

Yes you need to find chunks. Lowes should order some for you. Ask them to. Then they can carry them.

Ok, lots,of good advice can't wait till it gets here!
