Ingredients:  Cored Bell Peppers (retain the tops for stuffing), Sautéd [Onions, Celery, Green Pepper], 1 cup cooked rice, tomato sauce (15 oz), and 1 lb cooked/drained ground beef.  Seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper.

Mix ingredients and stuff Bell Peppers.  Used 8"x4"x2½" aluminum pans.  Preheated the PTG to ~ 350ºF [Manual Mode:  Output Value at 32%].  Baked for ~ 1½ hours to an IT of 180ºF.

I normally parboil my cored peppers before stuffing but skipped that step to simplify the recipe for use on the road with the RV.  The green pepper turned out wonderful.  Just a tad past al dente: still firm but no longer crunchy!  This recipe is being added to my camping repertoire ...  8)

I have never made these, but your recipe looks great.  So many things to try, so little time.

Muebe..these are easy to do in a dutch oven..just make them and add a big can of tomato juice and walk away..they will come out perfect and tomato juice will reduce to a gravy. I do this over the open fire every year.  Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

My wife makes them this way Pam. Sometimes uses spicy V8. No open fire, which I am sure is awesome.

Wow!  We will have to try your recipe for these.  Was just talking about making these this Sunday! And seeing yours prompted me to put peppers on my grocery list.  Yours do look good!

Sounds like a winner ... gonna have to give that Dutch Oven method a try on my Camp Chef  :)
