Title: Fine Swine & Bovine
Post by: LostArrow on August 25, 2014, 06:48:19 PM
I love FS&B, I use a lot , I buy in bulk!
It's a great BBQ rub! Not too salty, used granulated brown sugar ( more expensive) so doesn't clump as much as others. Great Flavor!!!!
But the name ???
How about " Worlds greatest BBQ rub"
Or Tee Squared BBQ rub"
"As Good as it Gets Rub"
Let's come up with a more marketable name for this product!

I think FS&B is a more memorable name, and that is the name of the game in marketing,   than world's greatest, etc.  My suggestion to Tee (although he hasn't asked for it) is to stick with FS&B.  However, everyone is entitled to his own opinion.

I like FS&B for a name.  You don't mistake it for anyone else's rub.  It could be "TOP SECRET", but the secret's already out!!  Besides that name may be taken, soon.

Maybe we could split the difference and use Bacardi 151.  I'm only half joking.  A little bit in a foiled pulled pork brazing liquid might work well.  At least it has some color.  :D

Would the nine o'clock hour have anything to do with that? Heck the cartoons are still on!  ;D  lol

I'm all for keeping the name as is! When you hear it....you remember it! That's ultimately what you want when naming ANY product!

Aren't Tuesdays "drink before noon" exceptions?  As for the name, I like it.  It helps me remember what "swine" and "bovine" mean. :-)
