Put the pie (homemade, which is obviously better, but if you are short on time a store bought one will work) in pellet grill, 100% Hickory, for 90 min at 250 then 30min at 375 until golden brown. Great smoke flavor that is scrumptious with the apple!!

I don't have a pellet grill (yet... ::)) So, I'm thinking to put it in my smoker (CB electric) with pellets at 250 for 90 minutes and finish in the oven at 375 - what do you think?
