Title: toothpick substitute
Post by: tailfeathers on April 22, 2016, 07:51:08 PM
Here is a tip that I learned from a buddy of mine. When you are prepping food that is wrapped in bacon (ABT, Pig Shots, dove breasts, etc) try this: instead of securing the bacon with a toothpick, use a piece of uncooked spaghetti noodle. It will stay firm long enough for the bacon to take a "set", then cook away. No toothpick to worry about having to remove, just pop the whole thing into your piehole and enjoy!

That's a super great idea. I was expecting something else. I use my business cards to floss my teeth once in awhile, boss wonders why I order business cards so often :)
