Looks like you were set up for indirect heat, what IT did you take it to? It doesn't look too rare, my wife might eat that. I have finally found a source for tri-tip at one of the Piggly Wiggly's here and am working up the nerve to try one. Will probably cook it on the Weber Performer, need all the tips I can get.
