Title: Has anyone used the SRG for pork belly?
Post by: CMartinEnt on November 26, 2016, 08:31:57 AM
My step father works in a co packer and always brings home meats. He has brought me cooked pork belly before, but just gave me about 5 lbs uncooked. Has anyone smoked it before in an SRG? Just looking for some pointers so I do not ruin it. Thanks!

Over the weekend, I bought some sliced pork belly from Costco.  Threw some salt and pepper on it and smoked it in the SRG.  Turned out like a thick cut of bacon and it was delicious (and I'm not even a huge bacon guy).
