Went to Wally-World yesterday to pick up a few things and while I was there for some reason I had a craving for sausage balls.
So I got home and tried Almond/coconut flour sausage balls.
Not bad but a little more testing needed ;)
Recipe Comes out to 1.0 carb each ball
1 lb Hot breakfast sausage (Tenn Pride)
1 cup Almond flour
1 cup Coconut flour
8 OZ pack of cheese cheddar

How did you cook them?

OH, at work and forgot :D :D :D ???
I cooked 375 for 20 mins. Normally you would cook at 350 but I want to make sure they were brown and crisp.
I have found Almond flour and Coconut flour act different when baking vs normal flour. So higher heat to try and make up for the difference

Tommy, have you ever tried Carbquik flour products? It's an all in one mix that is quite good for low-carbers. It's about the most least expensive stuff out there that is still very good for a ton of recipes.

I'm in! Sausage balls are always a big hit around here.

Sweet! Thank you-- I love sausage balls, and have wondered how to substitute those flours for the bisquick I usually use for the standard recipe.
