I was at Ace Hardware this morning. I always like to check out the Webers and the Toro lawnmowers. Mine is about 17 years old so I always think that the end is near.
Anyway they had the new Traeger Pro for about a grand. Small hopper and pretty thin metal on the hood.
It's been commented on here before but this was my first time seeing one. I'm thinking if you are ready to part with a grand, may want to keep looking.
I'm sure it will crank out great food. I guess I'm trying to save people from making an uninformed buying decision. But that happens everyday. I for one, research everything.

We had one and we had so many problems with it that Traeger actually took it back.

I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for when it comes to many things, pellet grills being one. And I 100% agree with your assessment of the Traeger Pro line. Better options for the $$.
