This is interesting. For around 150 bucks you can slip this in your pellet grill and be able to grill. As long as you have a center located fire box this should fit right in.
I figure a full set of Grill Grates would be around 100 bucks so this is not too far priced. I have watched some videos on You-Tube and it could be a nice accessory.
At least pellet grill mfg's are trying to address the grilling capabilities of their offerings.
I do like this much more than the searing station that runs on propane that hooks to the side of the Camp Chef Pellet Grill. Of course the CC is not universal.

I think its a great idea Smoke, The biggest drawback is that it takes away one more reason to have other grills! :)

A very good point Tom. :)

Interesting idea. It reminds me of MAK's funnel design somewhat, but without the drip pan.
You'd definitely need to get measurements, both for the grate size and height from the firepot to the grate level, before trying it in another brand grill.

While its cool - I'm not interested. A weber kettle is cheaper, much more verasitle and makes a great searing station.
In my opinion (and I know what opinions are like ;)) Pellet grills are perfect for smoking, grills are perfect for grilling - Ive never understood the need to try to get one to do both.
