Post by: Wing Commander on December 30, 2012, 09:21:37 AM
What if you want to cook Taco Al Pastor für three persons? It will tatse great but you will have lots of leftovers.

A guy in Germany had a great idea to make "Pastorini": kebobs of similar to Al Pastor marinated pork, ananas and onions. His handle in BBQ-Fora ist Fairbanks BBQ and his recipe is:

2 onions
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tsb brown sugar
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp chile powder
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp garlic cloves
2 tbsp chopped parsley
3 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper

Blended in a food processor.

Then cut 1 kg por shoulder in dices and rest at least 24 hours in the marinade.

Then cut 3 onions in quarters. Take 1 tin of pnieapple slices and cut them into quarters, too. Stick the meat, onion and pineapple on kebobs and sear them over direct heat.
