Title: Mak Turkey Breast..
Post by: Sam3 on April 08, 2013, 07:03:08 AM
During the work week, I like to have a healthy lunch. Which usually means a salad with some kind of protein, grilled chicken wrap, etc.
Sometimes I'll have 4 oz. of chicken or turkey in the morning for breakfast as well.

So I'm making something that will last the week and save me a few $$.

6.65 lb turkey breast rubbed with olive oil some James Gang Cajun Rub.

Onto the MAK at 375.

Pulled at 170.

Resting nicely. Going to rest this overnight before slicing.

The colour on the breast turned out very good.

Noticed no snow in the photo, here just had another storm and supposed to be -20C tonight. Will winter ever end??

Looks marvelous!

I love the flavor of turkey breast, but I have not been able to produce acceptable results yet - always is too dry.
